This song and Pradip Somasundaran need no introduction :-)
Qurbaani was an extremely popular film during its times and had sold the most number of music records that year. It also introduced Pakistani singer “Nazia Hassan” who rendered the popular “Aap Jaisa Koi”. “Kya Dekhte Ho” was probably one of the last few duets by Asha-Rafi so it makes it even more special.
I want to thank Pradip Sir for suggesting this song and giving me an opportunity to sing this classic. Its a privilege to be singing with him! He has done a fabulous job with the mixing too as usual.
Hope you like our attempt. Do leave your valuable feedback.

Beautifully done by you and Pradip Ji. Pradip ji was perfect as usual. Smitha: "nahin theek neeyat tumhari" and corresponding parts in antaras were done really really well.
Really wonderful singing! Sun ke maza aa gaya, bohat khoob! One of my very favorite songs!
Smitha while you have been showing glimpses of Asha ji before, in this song you have stepped
up in sounding like her. Great expressions by both of you!
A couple of minor issues:
1. "Tere baaton ka andaaz pyara" line should be "Teri ...". Sounds slightly unclear.
2. "Jitna mohabbat mein" should be "mitna ...".
3. Panning before the first antara is slightly distracting as it focuses on Pradips voice suddenly.
दिल से गाया है आप दोनों ने...
आप का ब्लाग अच्छा लगा...बहुत बहुत बधाई....
Nandita - Thanks so much! Glad u liked it.
Khan bhai - Thanks for ur encouraging words. And also for the pointers. Glad u liked it.
Paras - Thanks!
Prasanna - Shukriya :-)
I liked your attempt. Smitha, you need to get better with your Hindi. A couple of minor issues:
1: "Tere baaton ka andaaz pyaara" line should be "Teri Baaton Ka Andaaz Pyaara". The reason for pointing out this here is that it sounded a little unclear.
2: "Jitna mohabbat mein", it should actually be "mitna mohabbat mein"
3: Avoid panning the way you did in the first pallavi karnam valarey distracting aayirnu. Since it suddenly focusses on Pradip Ettan's voice.
All in all, nice attempt but you need to work towards polishing your Hindi. Looking forward to hearing you sing a Malayalam song sometime soon.
Thanks for the pointers Akshay! Will definitely help. I have sung "Ethrayo Janmamayi" on my blog :-)
